Browned Butter Sauce:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss cleaned mushrooms with oil, salt, and pepper.
- Roast the mushrooms in a single layer on a baking sheet for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until caramelized.
- Make the browned butter sauce: Melt butter over medium heat, stirring until golden brown. Remove from heat, then mix in garlic, thyme, and lemon juice.
- Toss and serve: Combine roasted mushrooms with the browned butter sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
