- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
For the Cheesecake Layer:
- 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×9-inch pan.
- Combine brownie layer ingredients and reserve 1/3 cup of batter. Spread remaining batter in pan.
- Beat cheesecake layer ingredients until smooth and spread over the brownie layer.
- Thin reserved brownie batter with water, drop spoonfuls on cheesecake, and swirl with a toothpick.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, let cool, then slice into squares.
