- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups chopped broccoli
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- Marinate shrimp with 1/3 of the sauce; set aside.
- Whisk cornstarch into the remaining sauce.
- Sauté broccoli in olive oil for 5-6 minutes; remove.
- Cook shrimp in butter for 2 minutes on each side.
- Add reserved sauce and simmer until thickened.
- Toss in broccoli and serve.
