- 16 oz (450g) Brussels sprouts, rinsed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Trim and halve Brussels sprouts. Pat dry.
- Toss sprouts with olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Spread evenly on the baking sheet with cut sides down.
- Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil the Brussels sprouts for 2–3 minutes after roasting.
- To ensure even cooking, choose similarly sized Brussels sprouts.
