Elegant, golden, and creamy Garlic Parmesan Duchess Potatoes are the perfect side dish for holidays or special occasions.

			- 2 ½ lbs Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and diced
 - 1 tbsp salt (for boiling)
 - 6 tbsp butter, divided
 - 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
 - 3–4 tbsp half and half
 - ½ cup Parmesan cheese, finely shredded
 - 4 large egg yolks
 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
 - Minced parsley (optional, for garnish)
 - Grated Parmesan (optional, for garnish)
 
Instructions
- Boil Potatoes: Peel and dice potatoes. Boil in salted water for 15–20 minutes until tender. Drain well.
 - Sauté Garlic: Melt 4 tbsp butter in a small saucepan, sauté garlic until golden. Add 3 tbsp half and half, then set aside.
 - Mash Potatoes: Mash boiled potatoes or use a potato ricer until smooth.
 - Mix Ingredients: Stir in Parmesan, garlic-butter mixture, and season with salt and pepper.
 - Add Yolks: Let cool slightly, then mix in egg yolks one at a time. Add extra half and half if needed for consistency.
 - Pipe Potatoes: Preheat oven to 425°F. Pipe mounds of the potato mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
 - Bake: Brush with melted butter and bake for 16–19 minutes until golden.
 - Serve: Garnish with parsley and Parmesan, if desired

- Drain potatoes thoroughly to prevent watery texture.
 - Use a large star tip for piping for the signature Duchess potato look.
 - You can prepare the mixture ahead and bake fresh before serving.
