Description

A quick, hearty breakfast pizza made with toasted English muffins topped with creamy sawmill gravy, fluffy scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and melted cheddar cheese. Ideal for busy mornings, brunch gatherings, or family breakfasts!

  • 1 package English muffins (6-8, split in half)
  • 8 eggs, scrambled
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 8 oz mild cheddar cheese, thinly sliced or shredded
  • For Sawmill Gravy:
    • ¼ cup sausage drippings (or butter)
    • ¼ cup flour
    • 2 cups milk
    • ½ teaspoon salt (to taste)
    • ¼ teaspoon pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  • Cook breakfast sausage in a skillet until browned; reserve ¼ cup of drippings.
  • For gravy: Add flour to drippings, cook for 5-10 minutes until golden. Slowly whisk in milk, cooking until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Toast the English muffins lightly under a broiler or in a toaster.
  • Scramble eggs with a splash of milk for fluffiness.
  • Assemble pizzas: Spread gravy on each muffin half, top with scrambled eggs, sausage, and cheese.
  • Broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and melted.
