Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Alternately add flour mixture and buttermilk to the creamed mixture, starting and ending with the flour mixture. Fold in mashed bananas.
- Bake: Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool completely.
- Make Frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla, beating until creamy.
