- Chocolate Pudding Layer: 2 x 3.9 oz. packages instant chocolate pudding, 2 ¾ cups whole milk.
- Topping: 2 ½ cups whipped topping, ¼ cup crushed candy canes.

- Prepare the peppermint cheesecake layer: Beat butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and extracts. Fold in whipped topping and crushed candy canes. Spread over crust and chill.
- Add the pudding layer: Whisk chocolate pudding mix and milk. Spread over the cheesecake layer and chill until set.
- Top with whipped topping: Spread whipped topping over the pudding layer.
- Decorate: Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top just before serving.
